The Distroyer has two operational amplifier gain stages, which can be controlled with variable high pass filters. Also it has octave boost based on Green Ringer circuit that can be mixed in the signal and can be bypassed via footswitch. All this goes into an active EQ control, that can cut or boost the low and high frequencies.

The main idea of Distroyer was to design a versatile overdrive/distortion pedal, that would deliver sounds from massive sub bass doom to tight black metal tones. There are lots of possibilities to craft the overdrive and distortion sounds with these controls:

DEPTH - Four position rotary switch that controls the high pass filter cut off frequency of the first gain stage. From full low frequencies to Tube Screamer like boost into the second gain stage.
GAIN - Controls the gain of the second gain stage.
LOW - Controls the active EQ's low frequensies.
HIGH - Controls the active EQ's high frequensies.
RESPONSE - Controls the high pass filter cut off frequency of the second gain stage. This is very similar control that is known as Ruetz mod of the Rat pedal and it controls mostly the low mid frequencies.
OCTAVE - The amount of the octave in the Distroyer. The octave can be bypassed via footswitch. It cuts some low frequencies the more it is mixed in the signal as it is upper octave boost, but gives nice resonance to the sound even if mixed in small amount.
MASTER - Everything will obey

The enclosures are chemically etched and blackened with patina, which makes the surface vary and therefore unique. Sometimes the treatment can appear little bit rugged, but that only adds character.

Pedals are handmade with the high quality components by V. Ajomo of DBR / WALOVOID. Lifetime guarantee in normal abuse.

"Designing and testing the Distroyer has been a long journey for me. My goal was to expand the classic Rat design into new grainy realms. The octaver was too tempting to add in the front and results were great. For me the octaver works like a filthy treble booster when I need a tight and violent distorted sound. The Distroyer acts as my main riff machine." -V. Ajomo

"Talking about dirt - The Distroyer most certainly is a heavy-duty one. With its versatility, variety of tones, EQ control and the way it cleans with the volume I personally think that we're talking about a shit load of fun. The octave boost makes me smile every time I step on it. As stated in the specs, it really gives a nice resonance to the sound even if mixed to a small amount.
As you're probably used to with the VOID stuff - we're talking about tight, powerful and heavy sound. It's hard to get excited about any dirt pedal after this one. It's simply insane!" -Jesse Jaksola / Polymoon

Pedal operates only with standard 9V DC 2.1 mm connector.
